A cup of piping hot tea and some crispy fried Moong Dal Pakoda are the perfect match of all monsoon recipes! So what if you forgot to soak the moong dal, you can still make this Instant Moong Dal Pakoda in 10 minutes only! Ingredients:
1 cups yellow moong dal
2” ginger, finely chopped
3-4 green chilies, finely chopped
1 onion, finely chopped
1 bunch Coriander leaves
A pinch Baking soda
Salt to taste
For Chutney:
4-5 Kashmiri whole red chilies
½ cup garlic
2 tbsp roasted chana
Salt to taste
1 tbsp oil
1 tbsp Lemon juice
Method:
Grind the moong dal to a coarse powder. Soak in hot water for 10 minutes. Grind again to a paste with more water if required. Add the remaining ingredients and beat well. Drop lemon sized balls in hot oil and fry till golden. Remove and serve. Soak the red chilies in water. Grind together with all the ingredients and little water. Serve.
